Nylon Coating
In addition to epoxy and polyester-based powder coatings, Express Coatings also applies nylon finishes.
These are “pure” nylon coatings, based on polyamide resin systems, which have the following special properties:-
- Excellent chemical resistance, especially to oils and solvents
- A high resistance to damage by impact and abrasion
- A low coefficient of friction
- Long lasting Coating
The coatings are applied by electrostatic spray which means that colour changes are rapid, The non-contaminator nature of nylon coatings lend itself to food manufacturing industries, whilst the thickness of coating enables it to be applied to most metal surfaces. Typical applications are stadium seating & disabled vehicles.
